    Mel and Drew’s summer mountain resort wedding at Copper Mountain has been circled on the calendar for quite some time. From the moment I met them back in 2019 I knew that they would be a blast to work with. Their fall colors engagement in Aspen was a fun adventure. I also enjoyed capturing their micro mountain wedding last year when their big celebration had to be postponed until now. I throughly enjoy working with all my clients but I connected with Drew and Mel on a different level. Part of that is definitely a result of communicating with them for such a long time.     Casey and Darren are two incredible people. From the moment we began chatting about their wedding plans I knew that they would be wonderful to work with. Since they live in Austin and because of the pandemic, most of our communication was remote but thorough. Like myself, Casey is detail oriented.   • Rainy summer wedding in Littleton | Jennifer and Stefan

    I was incredibly excited when I woke up the morning of Jennifer and Stefan’s wedding day that was taking place at The Barn at Raccoon Creek. Ever since I met Jennifer and Stefan more than two years ago and had a blast during their fall engagement in Evergreen, I knew this would be a date to circle on the calendar.     Olivia and Kyle have been dreaming of this day for quite a while. Like many others, the pandemic forced them to reschedule. They still wanted to get married and decided that tying the knot on the same day that they got engaged would be the perfect way to commit their lives to each other.     When Michell and Mikhail contacted me about their winter elopement in Estes Park I was excited because I knew how much they would enjoy the beauty that Colorado has to offer. I enjoy sharing the state with couples who travel in for their special day. I met them at The Stanley Hotel in Estes for a quick photo before we drove up to Sprague Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park for their elopement ceremony.   • Micro Mountain Wedding in Colorado | Mel and Drew

    Mel and Drew are like almost all of my couples their year. They had to postpone their big day to next year so they opted for a micro mountain wedding in Colorado’s high country said “I do” on their date. Their parents, Mel’s brother and his fiancee joined the officiant and his wife at Clinton Gulch Dam Reservoir for the intimate ceremony. They had an ecstatic first look.   • Colorado Mountain House Elopement | Marla & Chris

    Five years ago I was asked last minute (literally two hours notice) to fill in on a soccer team headed to Crested Butte for a weekend tournament. I didn’t know a soul on the team and got in a car with a couple of complete strangers bound for the mountains and a new adventure.   • Colorado Mountain Ranch Wedding | Laura & Ryan

    Laura and Ryan got married earlier this month at the beautiful and rustic 4 Eagle Ranch in Wolcott just outside of Vail. It’s been an unusual year to say the least so it was great to get back to work, if only briefly, to capture their incredible day. I’ve enjoyed working with them from the start.   • Honored by the Wedding Photojournalist Association

    Capturing moments on a wedding day is something that as a wedding photojournalist I believe is the most important part of my job. I’m there to document the day for my clients and their families so that they can relive it all for years to come. I want couples to love their images but it’s also nice to be recognized by the industry, specifically the Wedding Photojournalist Association. The organization has strict standards and ethics which is a big reason why I choose to surround myself with like minded peers in the industry. Each year the WPJA recognizes the top wedding photojournalists in the world based on the moments they captured throughout the year and I was fortunate to be included in that list. As…
