The energy was high from the very start of Ewo and Henry’s black tie wedding in Denver. We arrived at the Halcyon hotel to music playing and a room full of Ewo’s closest friends and family in the lovely presidential suite. The crew had a blast telling stories, doing yoga on the patio and helping Ewo get ready for one of the best days of her life. While I was with the ladies, Travis was next door with Henry in a much more subdued environment. Henry worked on finalizing some last minute details for the wedding before getting dressed and heading downtown for first look.
One of the funniest moments of the day came with Ewo crossed the street from the hotel with Henry’s sister Beth helping cover her Duchess length gown in a bedsheet so any wedding guests couldn’t get a preview. I’ve seen a lot in my 12 year career but this was a hilarious first. Ewo and I drove downtown to Civic Center Park where her and Henry had a magical first look. It’s always a treat to witness and photograph such a special moment between two people like that.
Their ceremony took place on the newly remodeled rooftop at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science with views of downtown Denver and the entire front range. Ewo made a stunning entrance in a long veil, walking down the aisle with her parents to a guy Ewo’s father described as someone whom he “could find no faults.”
Over the course of the evening we heard some lovely stories from each of their brothers and Ewo’s father and then they danced the night away as Devon Parker Band performed. We loved being part such a spectacular day and are glad to share these images so everyone can relive it all. Congratulations you two!!
