Capturing moments on a wedding day is something that as a wedding photojournalist I believe is the most important part of my job. I’m there to document the day for my clients and their families so that they can relive it all for years to come. I want couples to love their images but it’s also nice to be recognized by the industry, specifically the Wedding Photojournalist Association. The organization has strict standards and ethics which is a big reason why I choose to surround myself with like minded peers in the industry. Each year the WPJA recognizes the top wedding photojournalists in the world based on the moments they captured throughout the year and I was fortunate to be included in that list. As part of that, I also finished the year ranked #2 in Colorado.
I’m honored to be mentioned among so many talented photojournalists in the wedding industry. I wouldn’t be in this position if it wasn’t for the clients who trust me to document one of the most important days in their lives. I want to thank all of my clients and fellow wedding vendors who helped make 2019 one of the best yet.
