    This one was special. Karen and Ryan’s fall mountain lake wedding at Piney River Ranch was as true, honest and real as it gets. They had their closest family and friends all there to witness a day that they’ll truly never forget. Karen and Ryan live every day to the fullest and their day represented that.   • Luxury Wedding in Idaho Springs | Jordana & David

    Jordana and David hosted a fantastic weekend of events for their luxury wedding in Idaho Springs. They welcomed everyone into town at Denver’s Union Station on Friday night. There they were treated to some hilarious and heartfelt toasts by some of their closest friends. It was great to meet their family and connect with everyone before the wedding day. Saturday they headed west to Blackstone Rivers Ranch for their gorgeous wedding. We were able to head up the mountain for first look and a few portraits with perfect weather.   • Fall Idaho Springs Wedding | Makenzie & Jared

    Makenzie and Jared are an absolute blast to be around so it wasn’t a surprise that their wedding day lived up to the hype. The energy was infectious. Everyone was either smiling or laughing the entire day. It’s safe to say that their fall Idaho Springs wedding at Blackstone Rivers Ranch was one of my favorites from the year. They got ready in Golden so Travis and I started with them there. After a quick first look near the creek we drove up Squaw Pass for some fall colors and epic mountain views.   • Winter Wedding in Summit County | Jane & David

    Jane and David’s love for the mountains is hard to top. It’s their playground and nothing would have been more fitting than having all their most important people join them mid-mountain for a winter wedding in Summit County at Arapahoe Basin. It took several years to convince Louise at A Bay to open up their doors for their first ever winter wedding. Converting a space from a ski lodge to something fit for a wedding day in just a few hours is no easy task but the team did an incredible job making it all happen.   • Summer Mountain Lake Wedding | Danielle & Gabe

    Danielle and Gabe had the picture perfect summer mountain lake wedding a few weeks ago up at Piney River Ranch. They’ve been a blast to work with since their engagement session in Frisco last fall. Danielle never stopped smiling the entire time she and the ladies were getting ready. Gabe got to play catch with the Gore Range as a backdrop which was something he mentioned to me when we first met. Add in a canoe ride as newlyweds and a few moose sightings and you’ll understand how great of a day they had.   • Summer Wedding in Crested Butte | Sarah & Michael

    There is no greater honor than when another photographer asks you to photograph their wedding. Not only is Michael an incredible photographer, but he is a great fiend and also photographs weddings with me a few times a year so this one was extra special. I was able to capture his winter proposal at Devil’s Thumb Ranch and I’m so glad that I had the opportunity to photograph their summer wedding in Crested Butte at Mountain Wedding Garden.   • Wildflower Micro Wedding in Steamboat Springs | Rebecca & Noel

    Rebecca and Noel had the perfect wildflower micro wedding in Steamboat Springs last weekend. They had 25 of their closest family and friends in attendance to celebrate with them. It was 100% their day as they avoided all the things that weren’t important to them which is something I wish more couples would do. After getting ready separately, they saw each other during first look prior to sharing their vows with each other privately. They jumped in the side by side ATV and drove us out to a field of wildflowers. It was like nothing that I’ve ever been able to photograph on a wedding day.     Jessica and Sambit’s luxury hotel wedding in Denver at the Four Seasons will be one I’ll remember for a long time. Everything about their day was spectacular but their thoughtfulness for both each other and the people that mattered most to them stood out to me. When Trent and I walked in the hotel, Donnah with Poised Events was getting things set up and informed me that Jessica’s grandmother wasn’t going to be able to attend the wedding.     It’s easy to admit that this was the most anticipated day of the year for me. There is something incredibly special about being asked to photograph such an important day for one of your closest friends. Our mutual love of golf brought us together but that’s only the beginning of our friendship.
