Miranda and Alice’s summer wedding near vail last month was so much fun to be part of. When I captured their engagement photos in Washington, D.C. last fall they took Travis and myself out for a memorable Indian dinner and beers. We had a blast getting to know them and enjoying a meal together. It was the perfect start to our time in the nation’s capital before we photographed a wedding later in the week.
The ladies got their hair and makeup done at The Hythe in Vail before making the bumpy trek up to Piney River Ranch. There were a few nerves but once they saw each other during their first look the rest of the day was full of energy. Their smiles and laughter were infectious amongst their family and friends.
Piney Lake is always one of the most beautiful locations and it didn’t disappoint. While we were out doing a few portraits with the ladies we even saw the first moose of the season. Alice, Miranda and their guests then enjoyed a great dance party to cap off a perfect day.
The day wouldn’t have been such a success without the help from the other vendors, many of whom we’ve worked with before. Brittany and Jessica with Prive Events and Mark from TH Entertainment, to name a few, were all amazing to work with as usual.
