Classic Colorado Wedding | Diana & Eric

Eric and Diana’s Classic Colorado wedding was a blast to capture from start to finish. When we walked in the door the music was playing and the energy was high. It came as no surprise after we spent time together during their fall engagement in Breckenridge. These two have a great time together so I knew their wedding day would be a ton of fun.

Michael photographed Eric and the guys getting ready while I was just down the street with Diana and the rest of the wedding party. The weather was ominous all morning but we snuck out of the house a little early for first look on Loveland Pass and I’m glad we did. We managed to find a few great spots for photos before it decided to downpour on us at 11,991 feet just about the time the wedding party arrived to join us. Thankfully there were plenty of umbrellas to keep us dry and in tru Colorado fashion, it cleared up just in time for their ceremony at Arapahoe Basin.

Their ceremony was full of laughter, tears and jubilation. Storm clouds loomed into the reception but parted just in time for the gorgeous alpenglow to hit the east wall.

These two, and their pup, enjoyed every last minute of their wedding day and I’m so glad that they did.

  • Colorado Ski Resort Wedding | David and Xinya

I have been looking forward to David and Xinya’s Colorado ski resort wedding all year. Not only are they two of the nicest people that I’ve ever met but they got married at one of my favorite winter playgrounds, Arapahoe Basin. While I was with Xinya and the ladies at a cute cabin rental in Silverthorne, Michael drove up to A Basin to meet David where they were getting ready. Before too long we headed up to Loveland Pass for their first look. David’s reaction was priceless and I’m sure it helped convince Xinya that her trek up a steep slope in heels was all worth it. Their ceremony and reception took place at A Basin’s Black Mountain Lodge. We all rode the lift to…

  • Mid-Mountain Wedding in Colorado | Keely & Steven

Keelly and Steven’s mid-mountain wedding in Colorado at Arapahoe Basin was one for the record books. Not only was the scenery gorgeous but the moments and energy made this one I’ll never forget. Travis and I throughly enjoyed spending time and getting to know so many of their guests throughout the day. Things were a bit quiet during the morning and Keely and her crew listened to Taylor Swift while they got ready. Steven and the guys broke out the good tequila early and that set the tone for the day. Once they saw each other during their first look atop Loveland Pass Keely’s smile lit up. They are incredibly genuine people and it showed on each and every aspect of their wedding day. The…
