Mid-Mountain Wedding in Colorado | Keely & Steven

Keelly and Steven’s mid-mountain wedding in Colorado at Arapahoe Basin was one for the record books. Not only was the scenery gorgeous but the moments and energy made this one I’ll never forget.

Travis and I throughly enjoyed spending time and getting to know so many of their guests throughout the day. Things were a bit quiet during the morning and Keely and her crew listened to Taylor Swift while they got ready. Steven and the guys broke out the good tequila early and that set the tone for the day.

Once they saw each other during their first look atop Loveland Pass Keely’s smile lit up. They are incredibly genuine people and it showed on each and every aspect of their wedding day. The tears, laughter and even their dance moves were vibrant. Combine that with a group of their most special people at one of the best wedding venues in all of Colorado and you have a recipe for success.

As they say, it takes a village and the day wouldn’t have come together without the help from Louise at the A Basin and Angie with Sapphire Celebrations.

  • Winter Wedding in Summit County | Jane & David

Jane and David’s love for the mountains is hard to top. It’s their playground and nothing would have been more fitting than having all their most important people join them mid-mountain for a winter wedding in Summit County at Arapahoe Basin. It took several years to convince Louise at A Bay to open up their doors for their first ever winter wedding. Converting a space from a ski lodge to something fit for a wedding day in just a few hours is no easy task but the team did an incredible job making it all happen. A few injury complications prevented them from skiing on their wedding day so I knew that I wanted to incorporate something special for them. Jane and David are regulars…

  • Colorado Ski Resort Wedding | David and Xinya

I have been looking forward to David and Xinya’s Colorado ski resort wedding all year. Not only are they two of the nicest people that I’ve ever met but they got married at one of my favorite winter playgrounds, Arapahoe Basin. While I was with Xinya and the ladies at a cute cabin rental in Silverthorne, Michael drove up to A Basin to meet David where they were getting ready. Before too long we headed up to Loveland Pass for their first look. David’s reaction was priceless and I’m sure it helped convince Xinya that her trek up a steep slope in heels was all worth it. Their ceremony and reception took place at A Basin’s Black Mountain Lodge. We all rode the lift to…
