Dillon Reservoir is an easily accessible engagement photo location in Summit County.
Located between Dillon and Frisco along the I-70 mountain corridor, Dillon Reservoir (often referred as Lake Dillon) features views of the Tenmile Range, Boreas as well as miles of shoreline.
The reservoir is large which means there is a lot to find in the area. In the summer you can walk the path around the reservoir or venture to one of the marinas. The peninsula provides 360 degree views of the whole region.
Make sure to check out Outer Range Brewery when you’re in the area. It’s one of my favorite places to grab a beer in the whole state!

WHY WE LOVE IT
The entire Dillon Reservoir area is full of gorgeous backdrops. There is almost too many options so it's best to enjoy exploring the area in search of the perfect location. I have a handful of secret locations that I share with clients during their engagement session in this area.
