I had a great time with Nicole and Brett for their winter engagement in Summit County recently. They flew in from Los Angeles to do some wedding planning and we were able to get their session in while they were here. It was a chilly afternoon but the bluebird sky made up for it all. We started over at Dillon Reservoir and had the frozen water all to ourselves. The view of the Tenmile Range never disappoints.

Before it got too late, we drove up to Loveland Pass for the rest of the day. It actually felt warmer up at 11,991′ than it did down in the valley so Nicole was able to break out a few dresses that looked great against the snow. Perfect winter weather is the recipe for evening alpenglow which made for quite the ending to a lovely, but chilly, afternoon with these two. I can’t wait for their wedding later this summer.
