ENGAGEMENT LOCATIONS

Loveland Pass

Updated onFebruary 20, 2023

Home / Engagement Locations / Colorado / Loveland Pass

Loveland Pass is an ideal location for mountain engagement photos because it’s only an hour from Denver and features unobstructed views and amazing sunsets.

If you’re looking for engagement photos with a true Colorado feel then including Loveland Pass in your session is essential. Year round, this never disappoints to provide the wow factor that everyone is after.

Located between Arapahoe Basin and Loveland Ski Area, Loveland Pass sits on the continental divide and features views in all directions.

The distance from the parking lot to the photo location on the trail isn’t far at all. In the summer and early fall, we can also drive over to a natural high mountain pond that forms from the melting snow.

The weather can change quickly at this altitude to make sure to bring an extra layer or two just in case.

WHY WE LOVE IT

Look through the photos and you'll understand why I love this location so much. It's one of my favorite places in all of Summit County at sunset because the alpenglow on the ridgeline is stunning. At this altitude the sunset seems to last forever in the summer.

Real weddings don’t fit neatly into four, six or even eight hour packages. Our collections don’t require you to know your timeline months before your wedding.
As a a documentary photographer, I love moments. And it turns out a lot of moments happen before most photographers arrive or after they leave. That’s why all of our collections include up to 10 hours!

We’ll work together to make sure I’m there for all the great moments you expect, and the ones you don’t. You’ll never have to worry about planning your day around the photographer’s schedule.

Wedding collections include:
– full day coverage with two photographers
– online image gallery for viewing and downloading
– full resolution digital images with print release
– carefully crafted timeline and quick turnaround
Fill out the form on the right to check our availability and then we’ll reach out about detailed pricing.
