Both Shad and Aisha are incredibly thoughtful and purposeful people so it made sense that they had an intimate wedding in Denver with their most important people. Everyone came from all over the country and descended on Grant Humphrey’s Mansion for their special day. I was lucky enough to spend some time with them earlier in the week for their mountain engagement session that provided even more insight into their personalities individually and as a couple. Each and every smile, tear and laugh on their wedding day carried with it tons of weight.
While I was hanging out with Aisha and the ladies, Michael captured everything that happened on Shad’s side of the hotel. They both seemed a little nervous but that all disappeared when they saw each other for their first look. We wandered a bit around downtown before driving over to the mansion for the rest of their day. The ceremony was lovely and featured a multitude of emotions. The joy they expressed reverberated through the images which always makes what I do worth it.
It was a pleasure to capture such a meaningful day for them and I’m grateful that they asked us to play a small roll in their day.
