Last weekend I didn’t have to travel far for Sara and Ryan’s Cheesman Park wedding. It was refreshing to walk over to the Westin where the ladies got ready while Travis drove over to their condo to start with the guys. Sara was mostly done with hair and makeup when I arrived so she was able to relax while her family got ready.
The weather was a touch chilly but there wasn’t a cloud in the sky by the time the ceremony started under the pavilion at Cheesman Park. They opted not to see each other before the ceremony so there was a great moment when Sara walked down the aisle with her father. The sun poured in over the nuptials as both Ryan and Sarah made unique promises to each other.
When the ceremony ended we captured a few moments with the two of them before driving down to the Wynkoop Street bridge which has quickly become a favorite location of my clients. We couldn’t ask for a more beautiful setting with golden light, industrial elements and even a touch of gorgeous fall colors.
The Lobby restaurant was packed with all of their family and friends for a fantastic reception. Sara and Ryan’s friends did a wonderful job setting things up and the staff was a pleasure to work with. The toasts brought out both tears and laughter before everyone headed downstairs for a dance party.
They ended the night in dramatic fashion with a sparkler exit through a tunnel of all the people that they cherish. Thanks for allowing us to document your Cheesman Park wedding!
