ENGAGEMENT LOCATIONS

Shrine Pass

Updated onSeptember 29, 2022

Home / Engagement Locations / Colorado / Shrine Pass

Shrine Pass is a drivable mountain top engagement photo location that features epic views, summer wildflowers, evergreen trees in a quiet environment.

Not to be mistaken with Vail Pass, Shrine Pass is a wonderful location for engagement photos.

For the easy option you can just drive a little over two miles up the dirt road from I-70 to the trailhead. Here you’ll find views of the Tenmile Range, open meadows and lush forest. There is even a outhouse at the parking lot.

If you’re up for an adventure, the 4.5 mile out and back hike up Shrine Ridge climbs well over 1,000′. I wouldn’t recommend it for flatlanders but the hike will reward you with lush meadows and expansive views of the Holy Cross Wilderness, Gore Range and Ten Mile Range. The area is also known for being one of the best locations for wildflowers in the state. Typical peak season for the wildflowers here is late July to early August, depending on snowpack.

Real weddings don’t fit neatly into four, six or even eight hour packages. Our collections don’t require you to know your timeline months before your wedding.
As a a documentary photographer, I love moments. And it turns out a lot of moments happen before most photographers arrive or after they leave. That’s why all of our collections include up to 10 hours!

We’ll work together to make sure I’m there for all the great moments you expect, and the ones you don’t. You’ll never have to worry about planning your day around the photographer’s schedule.

Wedding collections include:
– full day coverage with two photographers
– online image gallery for viewing and downloading
– full resolution digital images with print release
– carefully crafted timeline and quick turnaround
Fill out the form on the right to check our availability and then we’ll reach out about detailed pricing.
