ENGAGEMENT LOCATIONS

Georgetown

Updated onJuly 7, 2021

Home / Engagement Locations / Colorado / Georgetown

Georgetown, Colorado is a historic, former mining mountain town about 45 miles west of Denver and features cute shops and the Georgetown Loop Railroad.

Chances are you’ve driven past Georgetown on your way to go skiing and never given it much thought. However this little town is a great starting location for engagement photos because it’s close to Guanella Pass. You two can walk the streets of this once upon a time mining town that is now home to establishments like the Buckskin Trading Company and Grizzly Creek Gallery on 6th and Rose Street.

A quick drive up Guanella Pass road provides an engagement photo location with aspen trees, winding roads and wilderness.

WHY WE LOVE IT

The quaint downtown is adorable and usually quiet enough that we have it all to ourselves. My fianceé, Amy, and I love to take quick camping trips along Guanella Pass and hike up to Silver Dollar Lake.

“Justin ran the show, made us all feel at ease, and was such a good communicator. When you hire Justin you’re hiring a hell of a lot more than a photographer.”

Real weddings don’t fit neatly into four, six or even eight hour packages. Our collections don’t require you to know your timeline months before your wedding.
As a a documentary photographer, I love moments. And it turns out a lot of moments happen before most photographers arrive or after they leave. That’s why all of our collections include up to 10 hours!

We’ll work together to make sure I’m there for all the great moments you expect, and the ones you don’t. You’ll never have to worry about planning your day around the photographer’s schedule.

Wedding collections include:
– full day coverage with two photographers
– online image gallery for viewing and downloading
– full resolution digital images with print release
– carefully crafted timeline and quick turnaround
Fill out the form on the right to check our availability and then we’ll reach out about detailed pricing.
