Willy went to great lengths to make sure that this was a day that Kelly will never forget. On the coldest day of the year, I bundled up and ventured out in the sub-zero temperatures to capture this Valentine’s Day proposal in Denver. Not only did Will make sure that I was there to document it all but he even hired an acoustic guitarist to play a few songs and included their parents to help setup and celebrate. I met up with Devan and Joshua at Avanti to start their downtown Denver engagement session but before we did anything we had a drink because, why not? It’s not often that I get to photograph my friends so when the opportunity presents itself it’s always something that I look forward to. Michael has been a good friend since we lived next door to each other in the dorms our freshman year of undergrad and we later roomed together during a semester abroad in Rome.
