Mike and Courtney’s wedding was a year past due, literally. Like so many others they got married in 2020 but had to wait until 2021 to celebrate with the friends and family they love. I can confidently say that it was worth the wait.

I haven’t seen them since their adventure of an engagement session last summer so it was wonderful to walk in and see their smiling, maskless, vaccinated faces on the wedding day. While Courtney and the ladies enjoyed mimosas while getting ready, Michael captured the guys preparing upstairs. Since we were spending the whole day at the venue we travelled offsite for their first look with a mountain backdrop.

Their ceremony was officiated by their siblings which is always a nice touch. Most importantly, they had so many people in attendance to witness their vows to each other. I’d have to say that the highlight of the day was being around so much energy during the reception. From the toasts to the dance party, it was an evening filled with joy and adrenaline. Mike, Courtney and all of the rest of us have been waiting for this day for quite a while and it was particularly great to capture it all.

Congratulations you two! Now let’s get out and play some golf.
