Colorado was absolutely showing off for Anna and Cait’s fall Telluride engagement photos. The vibrant hues of the aspen trees were full of peak color throughout San Miguel County the week that we arrived for their session. Anna is one of my closest friends so I was honored when Cait and her asked me to photograph their engagement and wedding next year. We wanted to go beyond the typical session so we booked a rental in downtown Telluride and made the trek to one of the most beautiful mountain towns in all of Colorado.
We explored all over Telluride, Mountain Village and even ventured out to Ophir and Trout Lake for a few images over the course of two afternoons. I’m glad that we had the extra time because there were so many gorgeous locations that we found along the way. Some of the standout images are from the top of Telluride Ski Resort near San Sophia Overlook. The mountain views from the top are incredible but capturing them on the gondola, surrounded by the stunning fall color might be my favorite image from their session.
Their energy together is playful, loving in a way that is easy to photograph. I’m glad that I can celebrate their love together and capture it along the way. I absolutely can not wait for their wedding day in Breckenridge next summer.
