Fall Mountain Lake Wedding | Karen & Ryan

This one was special. Karen and Ryan’s fall mountain lake wedding at Piney River Ranch was as true, honest and real as it gets. They had their closest family and friends all there to witness a day that they’ll truly never forget. Karen and Ryan live every day to the fullest and their day represented that. They were both nervous and excited in the best possible way.

While I was with Karen at the hotel in the morning, Matt headed to their rental house to spend some time with Ryan as he got ready. From the jump, the laughter and tears filled the day. We couldn’t have asked for better weather. Piney in the fall is special and I know it wowed all their guests.

The party was super important to them and it didn’t disappoint. Three of their favorite DJ’s rocked the house and kept the dance floor packed all night.

A huge thank you to all the vendors that made their day come together including but not limited to:

Party Girl Events, Justin Edmonds Photography, Petal & Bean, Piney River Ranch, The Arrabelle Hotel, Black Mountain Limo, Timberline Shuttle, Peak Oxygen Bar, Shutter Bus, Fleetmac Wood, DJ Sheddo and Strawberry K

  • Summer Mountain Lake Wedding | Danielle & Gabe

Danielle and Gabe had the picture perfect summer mountain lake wedding a few weeks ago up at Piney River Ranch. They’ve been a blast to work with since their engagement session in Frisco last fall. Danielle never stopped smiling the entire time she and the ladies were getting ready. Gabe got to play catch with the Gore Range as a backdrop which was something he mentioned to me when we first met. Add in a canoe ride as newlyweds and a few moose sightings and you’ll understand how great of a day they had. Shayna and her team with Cherry Bomb Events did incredible job coordinating everything and making the space look incredible. Cheers Danielle and Gabe. Thanks for letting us be a small part…

  • Mountain Wedding near Vail, CO | Becky and Brian

Last week after photographing the Denver Broncos season opener I made the drive west up I-70 with Travis to Vail for Becky and Brian’s Piney River Ranch wedding. The next morning Mother Nature greeted us with blue skies on our walk through Vail Village over to The Lodge at Vail where both wedding parties were getting ready. The ladies had a great view of the mountain while they did hair and makeup. Travis was with the guys a floor below for most of the morning but called me down to help give a bow tie lesson since they were having some trouble. Piney River Ranch is almost an hour up a bumpy dirt road from the village but thankfully the view doesn’t disappoint. Our state…
