Makenzie and Jared are an absolute blast to be around so it wasn’t a surprise that their wedding day lived up to the hype. The energy was infectious. Everyone was either smiling or laughing the entire day. It’s safe to say that their fall Idaho Springs wedding at Blackstone Rivers Ranch was one of my favorites from the year.

They got ready in Golden so Travis and I started with them there. After a quick first look near the creek we drove up Squaw Pass for some fall colors and epic mountain views.

Jared changed before the ceremony into his Navy dress white officer uniform and looked great. It was a pleasure to have several of his fellow officers join him at the ceremony. They even performed a saber arch as Makenzie and Jared exited their ceremony.

One of their wishes for the day was that their dance floor would be lit and it’s safe to say that they achieved that. When people have this much fun at a wedding it makes our jobs a breeze.

Congratulations you two, it was a joy being part of your day!
