Eric and Diana recently moved to Colorado from the east coast. For their fall engagement in Breckenridge I took them to one of the best locations for fall colors photos in all of Summit County, Boreas Pass. We enjoyed a beer in town before exploring all of the colorful aspen trees that line Boreas Pass Road.

We chased the sun, unsuccessfully, twice up the mountain at the summit of the pass. I’m pretty sure all three of us are still catching our breath. Thankfully the views make up for the lack of oxygen at that altitude. Watching the sun set over the Tenmile Range is just one of the reasons that I love Breckenridge and Boreas Pass for engagement photos.

They’re getting married at one of my favorite venues, Arapahoe Basin, next summer and I can’t wait.
