I recently had the opportunity to capture Briana and Tim’s fall elopement in Granby. I’m always honored when a couple asks me to be one of the very few people with them on such a special day. Ever since their fall engagement in Boulder last year I knew that I’d be looking forward to it all year.
When I arrived, Tim and their dog Norman greeted me at the door. While he finished a few last minute details I joined Briana while she got ready upstairs. Before too long, Briana and myself headed out the door and up the Quick Draw Express chairlift to the ceremony site at Granby Ranch. Tim, their friend Contessa and dog Norman looked on as Briana entered through a grove of colorful aspen trees. The ceremony was short and sweet but full of laughter. We all enjoyed some champagne, charcuterie and treats, Norman included, before a break in the day.
I met back up with them later in the day at Snow Mountain Ranch for a few hours of golden hour portraits. The aspen trees were in near peak color. We had a great time exploring the area until the sun went down. It was such a treat spending the day with them. Congratulations you two and thanks for letting me capture your day.
