If you have your heart set on engagement photos in downtown Denver, chances are Union Station is on your list of must have locations. Simply put, it’s quintessential Denver.
After undergoing a $54 million renovation that was completed in 2014, Union Station is a hotspot for travel, dining and especially engagement photos.
The great hall is usually busy but Sunday evenings and weekdays before/after rush hour are the best times for photos. If you want a more exclusive, private feel then I recommend having a drink at the pricy bar on the upper floor, The Cooper Lounge.
If you’re after the iconic image outside with the neon sign illuminated in the background, shooting this photo at dusk is essential. I’ll help you plan the whole day so we end up here at the perfect time.

WHY WE LOVE IT
I photographed my first ever engagement session here, long before the renovation, so it holds a special place in my heart. There is a reason it's one of the most visited locations in all of Denver, it's flat out stunning inside and out. I have lived just a block away for almost seven years so I'm practically a Union Station photo expert at this point.
