ENGAGEMENT LOCATIONS

Roxborough State Park

Updated onJuly 7, 2021

Home / Engagement Locations / Colorado / Roxborough State Park

Roxborough State Park is an ideal location for engagement photos near Littleton because it features gorgeous red rock formations and wide open meadows.

At the southwest end of the Denver Metro Area, sits Roxborough State Park. Filled with red sandstone that towers towards the sky, this engagement photo location is dramatic and filled with natural beauty.

The park is designated as a nature preserve so you won't cross paths with campers, horses, mountain bikers or pets. This means that unfortunately you can not bring your dog inside the park for your session. However I do know some nearby areas where your dog can join us.

WHY WE LOVE IT

If you love the area surrounding Red Rocks but don't want to fight the crowds, this is the place to go. The iconic rock formations provide depth and dimension to the images. Pro tip, if you don't want to pay the daily use and permit fees that are required at all state parks, I know of another extremely similar location nearby that is absolutely free.

pricing info

Real weddings don’t fit neatly into four, six or even eight hour packages. Our collections don’t require you to know your timeline months before your wedding.
As a documentary photographer, I crave moments. And it turns out a lot of moments happen before most photographers arrive or after they leave. That’s why all of our collections include full day coverage!

We’ll work together to make sure I’m there for all the great moments you expect, and the ones you don’t. You’ll never have to worry about planning your day around the photographer’s schedule.

Wedding collections start at $5200 and always include:
– full day coverage with two photographers
– online image gallery for viewing and downloading
– full resolution digital images with print release
– carefully crafted timeline and quick turnaround
Fill out the form on the right to check our availability and find a time for us to learn what’s important to you.
