ENGAGEMENT LOCATIONS

Rocky Mountain National Park

Updated onSeptember 18, 2021

Home / Engagement Locations / Colorado / Rocky Mountain National Park

Rocky Mountain National Park is a beautiful engagement location located in Estes Park, about 90 minutes from Denver.

The park features 415 square miles of breathtaking mountain views, including everything from meadows and valleys to forrest and tundra.

Some of the most stunning locations within the park can be found along the 48 mile stretch of Trail Ridge Road that links Estes Park and Grand Lake, travelling to nearly 12,000′ above sea level near the alpine visitors center. However, the road is closed in the winter months.

A commercial photography permit is required and costs $50 in addition to park entrance fees and must be applied for in advance. Current park entrance fees are $25/car for a single day.

Bear lake and Sprague Lake are great locations that are accessible throughout the year. If you’re willing to do some hiking there are some incredible locations with fewer people. I’m happy to share these locations with my couples.

WHY WE LOVE IT

There is a reason this gorgeous land is part of the National park system. It's easily one of the most beautiful and accessible locations in the whole state. I love taking couples to RMNP because we can spend the entire session in one area and come away with a vast collection of photos from different backgrounds and environments.

“Justin ran the show, made us all feel at ease, and was such a good communicator. When you hire Justin you’re hiring a hell of a lot more than a photographer.”

pricing info

Real weddings don’t fit neatly into four, six or even eight hour packages. Our collections don’t require you to know your timeline months before your wedding.
As a a documentary photographer, I love moments. And it turns out a lot of moments happen before most photographers arrive or after they leave. That’s why all of our collections include up to 10 hours!

We’ll work together to make sure I’m there for all the great moments you expect, and the ones you don’t. You’ll never have to worry about planning your day around the photographer’s schedule.

Wedding collections start at $4,300, which includes:
– full day coverage with two photographers
– online image gallery for viewing and ordering
– full resolution digital images with print release

Fill out the form on the right to check our availability for your date and to receive the full pricing guide.
