ENGAGEMENT LOCATIONS

Lost Gulch Overlook

Updated onSeptember 4, 2021

Home / Engagement Locations / Colorado / Lost Gulch Overlook

Lost Gulch Overlook is a beautiful location for engagement photos above Boulder next to Flagstaff Road and features stunning views of the nearby mountains.

Once you step onsite, you’ll quickly realize why Lost Gulch Overlook is one of the most popular locations for engagement photos. A large rock formation near the edge of the mountain feels like you’re standing on top of the world.

On weekends and holidays the area is packed, making it difficult to capture images without distractions. Evenings in the middle of the week are the best time to visit.

A $25 permit is required for all Boulder County open space and mountain parks including Lost Gulch. Parking costs $5 per car.

“Justin ran the show, made us all feel at ease, and was such a good communicator. When you hire Justin you’re hiring a hell of a lot more than a photographer.”

pricing info

Real weddings don’t fit neatly into four, six or even eight hour packages. Our collections don’t require you to know your timeline months before your wedding.
As a a documentary photographer, I love moments. And it turns out a lot of moments happen before most photographers arrive or after they leave. That’s why all of our collections include up to 10 hours!

We’ll work together to make sure I’m there for all the great moments you expect, and the ones you don’t. You’ll never have to worry about planning your day around the photographer’s schedule.

Wedding collections include:
– full day coverage with two photographers
– online image gallery for viewing and downloading
– full resolution digital images with print release
– carefully crafted timeline and quick turnaround
Fill out the form on the right to check our availability and then we’ll reach out about detailed pricing.
