Eldorado Springs is a popular location near Boulder for engagement photos with mountain views and a nearby creek.
About 15 minutes south of Boulder, Eldorado Springs is small municipality best known for it’s award-winning drinking water. However the area has become a popular destination for hiking, biking and rock climbing. All of those types of environments make for great backdrops for photos.
Deeper into Eldorado Canyon within the State Park the rock formations are popular amongst rock climbers in the area. These same places offer dramatic perspective in photos.
Different permits are required for either Boulder County or all Colorado State Parks and typically must be submitted 30 days in advance.

At the South Mesa Trailhead there are views of the flatirons, large meadows and access to South Boulder Creek which together provides great variety of backdrops in a single location.
