ENGAGEMENT LOCATIONS

Clinton Gulch Dam Reservoir

Updated onNovember 12, 2021

Home / Engagement Locations / Colorado / Clinton Gulch Dam Reservoir

Clinton Gulch Dam Reservoir is an engagement photo location nestled between Copper Mountain and Leadville featuring water and mountain views.

Located about 9 minutes from Copper Mountain, this engagement photo location is easy to access just off highway 91 on the way to Leadville.

The hiking path along the left side leads you along the reservoir before opening up past the water. There is a peninsula a short distance from the parking lot that is a great location for photos or even a small elopement type wedding ceremony. The surrounding area at the location features gorgeous views of Bartlett Mountain, Clinton Peak and Wheeler Mountain.

Because of the high elevation, this location receives lots of snow which makes the parking lot inaccessible during winter months.

WHY WE LOVE IT

This is a great supplemental location for other stops in Frisco, Copper Mountain or Leadville. The water views provide something different that you don't get much of in the area.

“Justin ran the show, made us all feel at ease, and was such a good communicator. When you hire Justin you’re hiring a hell of a lot more than a photographer.”

Real weddings don’t fit neatly into four, six or even eight hour packages. Our collections don’t require you to know your timeline months before your wedding.
As a a documentary photographer, I love moments. And it turns out a lot of moments happen before most photographers arrive or after they leave. That’s why all of our collections include up to 10 hours!

We’ll work together to make sure I’m there for all the great moments you expect, and the ones you don’t. You’ll never have to worry about planning your day around the photographer’s schedule.

Wedding collections include:
– full day coverage with two photographers
– online image gallery for viewing and downloading
– full resolution digital images with print release
– carefully crafted timeline and quick turnaround
Fill out the form on the right to check our availability and then we’ll reach out about detailed pricing.
