Alderfer/Three Sister’s Park is a multi use mountain park with lots of trails and lush evergreen forest.
The park is a solid choice for an engagement session during the colder months because the evergreen trees look great any time of the year. If you’re looking for a rustic feel then stopping by the Alderfer Ranch at the West trailhead during your session is a good idea. The old barn will provide a different backdrop from the rest of your images.
Evergreen Lake is another location just down the road that you might want to visit during your engagement session.

WHY WE LOVE IT
Climbing to the top of Brother's Lookout from the East trailhead is about 1.5 miles round trip but the views at the top are worth the trek. It's also one of the highest points in the area so sunlight is unobstructed from any trees so it's a perfect place to take in the sunset.
