Danielle and Jordan’s Crooked Willow Farms wedding in Larkspur was full of the rustic charm that you would expect from a gorgeous Colorado barn venue. The cold and rainy weather forced us inside for most of the day and while every wedding has it’s challenges and I was throughly impressed at how Danielle, Jordan and their families didn’t let anything stop them from going on with the show.
Danielle looked absolutely gorgeous and was enthusiastic throughout the day. Jordan was calm and collected but lit up when he saw Danielle for their first look. Their LoDo engagement session was a stunner so I wasn’t surprised that they brought the same energy to their wedding day. After witnessing their incredible vows in person it’s clear that they bring out the absolute best in each other.
The day required a huge team effort to pull everything together, more so than most weddings, and I can’t thank Adrienne with The Gardner Effect, Meredith and Kate with Plum Sage, and Amy from Crooked Willow enough for working together with Travis and I to create a memorable wedding day for the couple and their guests.
It was our first time at the venue and we enjoyed all of the color and unique spaces with interesting pockets of light. I’m thankful that Danielle and Jordan asked us to document their Crooked Willow Farms wedding. Their families welcomed us with open arms which is half the battle to capturing great images and telling the complete story of the day.
