Melissa is always smiling and Jordan brings out the best in her which is why their Cherokee Ranch & Castle wedding this fall was a treat to photograph. You may remember their Elk Meadow Park winter engagement session from earlier this year but their wedding provides an even better glimpse into them as a couple.
Travis joined me once again to document their day and he met up with Jordan and the groomsmen at Halcyon Hotel in Cherry Creek while I was with the ladies at the Four Seasons downtown. Before too long we all made the trek south to Sedalia where the castle is located a couple miles up a private drive that leads to spectacular views of the Front Range. The stone walls inside the venue let you know that you’re in a historic space and much of the furniture is so old that you can’t sit on it.
Jordan’s initial reaction to seeing Melissa for the first time was pure, unfiltered jubilation and just what I expected. They make each other happy and it’s always a pleasure to not only witness but also capture moments that couples will never forget. Their ceremony was full of laughter and tears in front of their closest family and friends.
We squeezed every bit of sunlight out of the sky for a few portraits before Jonny Mogambo Band forced everyone to put their dancing shoes on. We had a wonderful time being part of their Cherokee Ranch & Castle wedding. Congratulations Jordan & Melissa and thank you for being wonderful to work with.
