Frank and Heidi live in Minnesota’s Twin Cities and wanted a change of scenery for their special day and decided to have a Breckenridge Boreas Pass wedding with all their family and friends. Can you blame them?

As a Colorado native I’m completely aware of how beautiful the state is but I hadn’t experienced the top of Boreas Pass until I Trent asked me to help document their wedding day. After the ceremony downtown we ventured up the dirt road on Boreas Pass despite the cold, windy conditions in search of the perfect Colorado backdrop. Heidi’s face lit up when we asked if she would be willing to climb on top of the deserted box car at the top of the mountain. Shortly after they climbed up there the clouds parted and the sun showed its face in true Colorado fashion.

On our way down the mountain we found a screaming pocket of light shining on some of the final fall color of the season.
