    I recently had the opportunity to capture Melanie and Colin’s mountain views engagement in Boulder. It’s been a while since we had a chance to connect so we grabbed a beer at Sanitas Brewing before getting started.   • Summer Mountain Resort Wedding | Mel & Drew

    Mel and Drew’s summer mountain resort wedding at Copper Mountain has been circled on the calendar for quite some time. From the moment I met them back in 2019 I knew that they would be a blast to work with. Their fall colors engagement in Aspen was a fun adventure. I also enjoyed capturing their micro mountain wedding last year when their big celebration had to be postponed until now. I throughly enjoy working with all my clients but I connected with Drew and Mel on a different level. Part of that is definitely a result of communicating with them for such a long time.   • Summer Wedding in Sedalia | Casey & Darren

    Casey and Darren are two incredible people. From the moment we began chatting about their wedding plans I knew that they would be wonderful to work with. Since they live in Austin and because of the pandemic, most of our communication was remote but thorough. Like myself, Casey is detail oriented. Our conversations ranged from rescheduling their wedding, twice, to the color of the bridesmaid dresses and so much more minutia in between.   • Mountaintop proposal in Colorado | James & Laurie

    Capturing this mountaintop proposal in Colorado was an absolute adrenaline rush. James contacted me a few months back as he was planning on proposing during their vacation here. Guanella Pass was the perfect location because it was easy to get to and has some spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. I spotted their car on the drive up so our timing was perfect. After they headed up the trail I snuck up the backside of the hill and hid behind a rock until James gave me a thumbs up. Thankfully Laurie never saw me as James got down on one knee.   • Rainy summer wedding in Littleton | Jennifer and Stefan

    I was incredibly excited when I woke up the morning of Jennifer and Stefan’s wedding day that was taking place at The Barn at Raccoon Creek. Ever since I met Jennifer and Stefan more than two years ago and had a blast during their fall engagement in Evergreen, I knew this would be a date to circle on the calendar. They opted to get married in front of close family and friends last year when this big celebration had to be postponed.   • Littleton Engagement | Kelsey & Colin

    It was great to finally meet up with Kelsey and Colin to chat about the wedding and capture photos during their Littleton engagement session. As with so many couples lately, this was the first time that I was able to meet them in person. It was fantastic to drink a beer together in the parking lot before we got going. While we were in the middle of an outfit change a guy came down the trail holding a live rattlesnake that was sunning on the trail.     Nicole and Brad recently travelled into town for a bit of planning for their wedding later this summer. While they were here I met up with them for a snowy Summit County engagement session. We started the day at Officers Gulch. It’s one of my favorite locations in the area but I hand’t photographed there in the winter. I absolutely loved Nicole’s colorful jacket. Not only did it perfectly match her personality but the color popped in the snow. We travelled over to the peninsula on Dillon Reservoir for a different view.     Olivia and Kyle have been dreaming of this day for quite a while. Like many others, the pandemic forced them to reschedule. They still wanted to get married and decided that tying the knot on the same day that they got engaged would be the perfect way to commit their lives to each other. They planned the perfect winter micro wedding in Aspen. I met the two of them shortly before their first look at The St. Regis Aspen Resort.   • Valentine’s Day Proposal in Denver | Willy & Kelly

    Willy went to great lengths to make sure that this was a day that Kelly will never forget. On the coldest day of the year, I bundled up and ventured out in the sub-zero temperatures to capture this Valentine’s Day proposal in Denver. Not only did Will make sure that I was there to document it all but he even hired an acoustic guitarist to play a few songs and included their parents to help setup and celebrate. Kelly thought she was headed to drinks at Union Station but when she saw the setup on the top of the Denver Millennium Bridge she had a feeling it was something more.   • Winter Frisco Engagement | Bethany & Nick

    Bethany and Nick flew in from North Carolina for a little wedding planning and vacation. During their trip we found some time for their engagement session near Dillon Reservoir in Frisco. I brought a couple of beers from my favorite brewery, Outer Range, for us to enjoy as we hiked up to the top of the nearby peninsula to start the session. The views were about as good as the beers. We had a great time there before changing locations to a secret spot for the second half of the day.
